Fansly Takes the Same 20%. Anyone Saying Otherwise Is Selling an Agency.
OnlyFans and Fansly both take 20%. The real gap is For You, $49.99 vs $499.99 caps, and Tango as live. Iryna Lysenko, 3 years at QueenScout. Ukraine. 18+.

The first-call question I hear most: “Where is the cut smaller?” Nowhere on the two big ones. OnlyFans and Fansly both keep 20% of subscriptions, tips and PPV. Picking Fansly “because the percentage is better” is someone else’s slide, not maths.
I have spent three years matching agencies to a platform, not the other way around. The differences that actually change the job sit in discovery, the price ceiling, and whether the team can run that specific inbox.
OnlyFans: the largest wallet, no feed
Fans already know how to pay there. The audience is still the largest in the category. The catch agencies like to skip: almost nobody finds you inside the app. Traffic is Instagram, Reddit, ads, or the agency’s media buyer. Subscriptions cap at $49.99 a month, so the big cheques live in PPV. That is why chatters exist.
2026 price indexes (FanChecked, FanBrowse) put a typical paid OnlyFans sub cheaper than Fansly: on OnlyFans people compete on price; on Fansly the same person often sets a higher tier. In one sample of creators running both, Fansly came out about two-thirds more expensive for the same face.
Fansly: the same 20%, a different pipe
For You, tags, follow-for-free, multiple tiers, a subscription ceiling of $499.99. A fan can find you inside the product, not only from a Reel. Payout minimums and rails differ — that is dashboard trivia, not a reason to switch platforms for “the percentage.”
The catch Fansly-agency landings skip: the audience is smaller, and you often have to teach a fan that it is “like OnlyFans, here is the link.” An agency that only knows OnlyFans chat scripts will run the same inbox into an empty feed.
Tango is not “also a sub”
Tango is live video and gifts, not $9.99 a month. Hours, moderation, payouts — a different job. Public streams typically ban full nudity: you can work on camera with little or no explicit content. If you want Tango, say so in the first five minutes. Otherwise the shortlist fills with “OnlyFans only,” and everyone pretends that is a platform match.
Fanvue and others sit next to them — “and others” is not decoration. Fees there sometimes move; audiences differ. The rule does not: the agency has to know the platform you will actually work.
Where to start in 2026
From zero, with the widest paying audience, the usual start is OnlyFans. If you already have traffic and want fans to find you inside the app — Fansly as a second storefront, or as the main page where OnlyFans is stricter. If you want live performance — Tango, and that is not “an extra page.” It is a different week.
QueenScout does not park everyone on OnlyFans “because that is what we do.” The shortlist is built after that choice. An agency that fudges Fansly’s fee on the call will fudge the rest.
